Services
I offer more than just the Infant Swim Resource Self-Rescue TM swim lessons. I also offer stroke lessons for the child that is ready to progress to the next step in swimming. If you are holding a pool party and want to enjoy your party and provide safety to those attending I can provide lifeguards for your private party. If you are a Triathlon Race Director, I can setup and provide water safety for your event.
ISR Self-Rescue TM Rollback to Float
Even children as young as 6 months can use this technique should they fall into the water. Babies 6 to 12 months of age learn to hold their breath under water, turn onto their backs, and float unassisted. This skill usually takes 4-6 weeks, 10 minutes per day to learn.
Fees: $60 per week $10 discount for 2nd child.
Stroke Lessons
Stroke lessons are the next step advancing your child into a more refined swimming stroke where they will be able to propel themselves through the water effectively and efficiently. Stroke lessons are tailored to your child's unique swimming ability, therefore, these lessons will be designed specifically for your child. Lessons will be twice a week and are 15 minutes long. I am an American Swim Coach Association (ASCA) Level 3 swim coach.
Fees: Negotiated for the amount of time I spend with the individual.
ISR Self-Rescue TM Swim-Float-Swim
Children 1 to 6 years old are taught to expand the rollback to float into a swim-float-swim sequence - learning how to hold their breath underwater, swim with their heads down, roll onto their backs to float, rest, breathe, and roll back over to continue swimming until they reach the side of the pool, can crawl out of the water or be rescued by an adult. These skills usually take 4-6 weeks, 10 minutes per day to learn.
Fees: $60 per week, $10 discount for 2nd child.
Water Safety Services
Water Safety is essential in many different settings. If you have a pool and want to throw a pool party but don't want to worry about your guests safety, hire a lifeguard for your party. I can help you with this.
Fees: $25 for the first hour, $20 for additional hours.
Water safety for triathlons and open water events is a must. I provide setup of swim course with accurate course distances and can help you with the overall water safety during the event, from finding lifeguards to writing your site safety plan.
Fees: Initial consulting fee of $250 for a sprint distance event. Providing lifeguards is an additional fee of $50 per guard. Fees vary on the distance of the event and the amount of water safety coordination and consultation involved.
